![]() ![]() The lack of action is disrespectful to the fans trying to enjoy the show, and disrespectful to the performers putting on the show. As stated before, I thoroughly enjoy Deadlock and am thankful for what the boys are doing in the Indy wrestling scene, but I think there needs to be some sort of accountability when it comes to handling these types of "fans". It shouldn't have to be other fans' responsibility to handle these types of situations, I just wanna watch some wrestling. ![]() And the most unfortunate part about all of it was that there were multiple event staff/security sitting within earshot, allowing it to continue all night. Needless to say my wife was horrified and came away from the experience hesitant to attend another wrestling show. He responded with "I bought a ticket just like you, turn around and leave me alone." After one more shut the fuck up to this asshole, he and his friend decided to move and watch from the exit where they probably continued spewing their garbage to each other. If you were at the show and in the vicinity, you know exactly what was said.Īfter the 2nd or 3rd "ching chong" comment from one of these chuds during Emi v Jungle, I turned around and told him to shut the fuck up with his racist and sexist bullshit, and that nobody is here for it. ![]() I won't go into details as a lot of stuff they said regarding Raychell Rose and KZT was absolutely stomach turning. We had the unfortunate displeasure of sitting directly in front of two geriatric local "fans" who, after spending the entire pre show and first 15 minutes of the main show watching college football on their cell phone, proceeded to yell and comment to each other the most vile and disgusting things about the female/foreign talent. The matches were excellent and the boys booked another solid show, but my crowd experience was quite the opposite. I was finally able to attend the Carolina Classic and it was everything I wanted and more, especially with it only being my fourth ever pro wrestling show.įast forward to DPW: World's Strongest in Concord, NC the wife and I were particularly excited as The Best Bros are one of our favorite tag teams. Being unable to attend the live shows until recently, I spent the last 8 or so months consuming all of the content on DPWonDemand and while the matches are always excellent, the passionate and fun loving crowd and fanbase was what really sold me on them. I will preface this by saying that I am a huge fan of the Deadlock podcast and when the boys announced they were starting their own company a year ago I was over the moon. My wife and I had an unfortunate experience at last night's DPW show. It's sad that in 2022 this still has to be said. TL DR: You don't get to be racist/sexist bc you bought a ticket to a show, and event organizers/show runners need to be held more accountable on handling these types of situations. ![]()
